REMODEL works for the homeowner. We collect what we need to run your project and nothing to sell.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, and a securely hashed password.
• Projects: what you describe, the address you give, plans, bids, messages and payment status.
• Contractors: business name, phone, license number, insurance details and certificate.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store card or bank numbers; we keep Stripe’s reference IDs.

Who sees what

• Verified contractors see your project scope, city and estimate — not your name or address — until you accept their bid.
• The contractor you hire sees your name, address and project messages.
• Stripe processes payments under its own privacy policy.
• REMODEL staff can see records to verify contractors, resolve payment issues and prevent fraud.

What we never do

• Sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• Use third-party advertising trackers on this site.
• Move money without your explicit approval.

Your choices

You can ask us to export or delete your account. Some payment and audit records must be kept as required by law.
