Price a clear scope
Every bidder prices the same line items, so the homeowner compares your work, not just your total. Add your notes, exclusions and start date.
Start with money held
When your bid is accepted, the homeowner funds the deposit into escrow. Each later stage is funded before it begins.
Get paid by stage
Finish a stage, request payment with a lien waiver, and the homeowner releases it to your bank through Stripe.

Payments follow a simple schedule: a 10% deposit, then 30% once rough-in is inspected, 30% when the major installation is done and 30% at the final walkthrough. Each stage is funded into escrow before you start it.

What does it cost?
Joining and bidding are free. On jobs you win, REMODEL keeps 5% of each payout, and that includes card and bank processing. There are no subscriptions and no lead charges.
When do I get paid?
When the homeowner approves a stage, the payment is sent to your Stripe-connected bank account. It usually arrives within 2 business days, depending on your bank.
What if the homeowner doesn't approve a stage?
The money stays in escrow; it doesn't go back to the homeowner by default. REMODEL looks at the scope, your notes and the photos, and helps both sides settle it.
Can I bring my own clients?
Yes. A homeowner can invite you to bid on their project directly, and you'll get the same escrow and payment schedule.
